Peripera Peri's Ink the Velvet | review

This entry might catch your attention as I'm going to share about lip tint. YEAYY! (As per title) I am going to talk about PeriPera Peri's Ink the Velvet. I have this lip tint for almost a year (maybe more) with me and it is the time for me to share my opinion about this lip tint. Frankly speak, I'm not a big fan of lip tint because I've tried a few lip tint before and it turns out dry out my lip and nottt a fan of it since then. But after I tried Peripera Peri's Ink the Velvet, this lip tint change my mind set about lip tint. WHY? *keep on reading. Hehehehee...

Before heads, let me introduce you to Peripera first. Peripera is a South Korea brand that comes out with a cheeky, chic, and cute makeup products and the name "Peri" represent "fairy" which show a dreamy concept. What makes this brand different from any other is their dreamy and unique packaging. So you practically will know what's going on with the brand right. Did you know that Peripera is also CLIO's sister brand. *you're welcome

This is how Peripera Peri's Ink the Velvet looks like. Like I mention earlier, Peripera always comes with unique packaging thus, the packaging for Peripera Peri's Ink the Velvet also unique! I'm not sure how to explain the packaging but what I can say that it is compact and unique. The bottle color will represent the shades and it has black lid cover. It is actually comes with 10 different shades but I only have 3 shades. I'm actually waiting to collect all 10 shades but nahhh.. 3 shades is good enough for me.

Lip tint is popular among Korean's beauty and growing worldwide and not Korean Beauty get world attention. Lip tint is more like a lip stains that claims to be long-lasting and light in texture. Most people obviously familiar with “Lipstick” but not everyone familiar with “Lip Tint”. Inform of longevity, lip tint tends to stay longer than normal lipstick as lipstick contains wax so it glides smoothly (I read it on article)

Peripera Peri's Ink the Velvet claims to be an unique formula where it helps the color and moisture last longer not like any regular lip tint that tends to dry up your lips. The color will stay vivid and longer thought out the day

Peripera Peri's Ink the Velvet swatches after the creamy texture gone and it stays like stain!

Color/ Texture: as you can see, the color appear vividly even after the creamy texture gone. It does gives the high intensity hues with long lasting formula. During application, it is creamy and moisturizes as it contains marine collagen, hyaluronic acid, organic jojoba oil, olive oil, and amica extract. Peripera describe the texture more like a whipped-cream texture and I have to agree with that. With small dots can cover my lips pretty well. 

No.4 - WOW Pink

This color will give you a hint of pink mix with coral at the same time.
Color: Lovely Pink
Longevity: up to 4-5 hours

No.5 - Inktude Rose

Don't mess with Red. It bring up your confident to the next level.
Color: Tamed Subdued Rose
Longevity: Up to 3-4 hours

No.10 Ooops Fuchsia

This color definitely grab people's attention.
Color: Fuchsia Pink
Longevity: up to 5-6 hours 

Longevity: I could say it stays for almost 4-6 hours but each color shows different staying power on my lips. No.5 probably has low in power of staying compare to No.10. When I wear No.10, it last pretty well on my lips even after a super greasy heavy meal but No.5 normally will fade-off but it stays pretty well after a light meal and drinks in the morning.

Now you know my bias goes to No.10 Hehehee...

Not only has it stayed longer but the color suitable with my skin tone. If I know I'm going to have liked a buffet meal, I will definitely going to apply Peripera Peri's Ink the Velvet No.10 right away. Then, I can enjoy my meal time with no worries.

Overall, Peripera Peri's Ink the Velvet has great color intensity and staying power. The whipped cream-like texture definitely a plus as it won't dry-up the lips. Peripera Peri's Ink the Velvet also easy to apply and stay as stains. No stickiness when I apply it and it does keep my lip moisturizing on early application (well, I still apply lip balm before apply it).
