A long waiting for this review. I've been using this for couple of month and I fall in love right away. This Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless really works on me. Previously I also review about the concealer HERE. I'm glad that I have the full range with me now! Wuuhuu~
Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation
The popular and rave foundation ever!! Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation. I heard sooo many good review and feedback about this foundation and I'm just sooooo happy that Maybelline bring this Fit Me Matte + Poreless range here, in Malaysia. This foundation was rave because it works wonder on normal-oily skin type and choose Malaysia as their market place definitely a brilliant idea because most of Malaysian have normal - oily skin type because on our weather and environment.

This is how the bottle looks like. It comes in a glass packaging which I love when foundation comes in such packaging.
Not only that, this foundation also comes with several different shades that going to match with most on skin tone, either in overseas market and Malaysia. They claim that their matte foundation formula have micro-powders that helps to control shine and give blur effect on the pores. Thus, it is called as Matte + Poreless foundation. This foundation has dermatologist tasted, allergy tested and non- comedogenic.
Color: I choose code 220 Natural Beige that match nicely with my skin tone. I'm glad I found the color for my skin tone since there're several different shades and I got confusing while choosing. Ngeeheee. After a few time try and test to find the color I think 220 Natural Beige fit me well.
Texture: I was amaze with the textureeee! It is lightweight yet have good coverage. OMGG! I don't know how to xpress my feeling about the texture but the texture really good on my skin which is cobination-oily type. I really love foundation that has lightweight yet good coverage.As I mention like so many times, I have sensitive skin type yet this foundation works wonder on my skin. Since it is lightweight, so it does not turns cakey on my skin. The texture also make it easier to blend.
This is how it cover my imperfection skin.
Coverage: The coverage is high-medium yet build-able for higher coverage. I'm super impressed because with the lightweight texture it can give such good coverage. As you refer to the picture above, you can see how it cover my scar and uneven-skin tone pretty well (My skin still in healing stage, Hopefully it will recover soon, Amiin to that). I only apply this for one layer only yet the coverage is pretty amazing. It have good consistency for foundation and if you someone with normal-oily skin type, I think you going to love this foundation (like I do)
Finishing/Longevity: It have skin-finishing feel! #serioustalk . It does not get patchy or cakey when I apply it on my face yet it feels more like a skin-finish. Surprisingly it last on my skin up to 7-8 hours (I rarely wear makeup more than 8 hours thus, I'm not sure either it can last longer than that). Although it is claim that to have matte finishing but it does not make your skin feel dry. I tend to sweating easily yet this foundation stay nicely. It keep my skin look mate for the first 3-4 hours but after that, when my skin get oily it turns out like a dewy finish. people call it as "healthy glow skin look" gitewww.
Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder
To compliment each other, I also get their Fit Me Matte + Poreless powder and I choose the same code (220 Natural Beige) as the foundation. What catch my attention to get both of this because it claims that Maybelline Matte + Poreless Powder can helps to control shine and keep your skin mattifies after use (which I need). I also notice that this is the 1st Mabelline mattifying powder for those who have normal to oily skin type. It will stay poreless and matte for up to 16 hours (according to what they claimed). That's why I want to give it a try. Ngeee..

This packaging also include mirror and puff at the bottom part.
For me I find that the packaging is sleek and compact. I like that it is come in a square packaging. I love how handy it is to bring along in handbag. This powder has Dermatologist tested, allergy tested and Non-comedogenic.
Color: I choose code 220 Natural Beige same as the foundation code. Glad that it match nicely with my skin tone and blends well with the foundation color. As for powder I notice it does not have many range color like the foundation does but I heard that powder you can choose one shade lighter or darker than your foundation color (depends on your foundation color) to balance the tone on you skin so it does not look weird
Texture: As for the texture of powder it feels like any other matter compact powder will be. But it slightly lighter when apply and my skin does not feel cakey or "heavy" feeling after apply this. The easy words is that I don;t feel like I'm wearing a mask when apply this powder. Which is good!
Maybelline claim that it have Perlite Mineral technology that helps to absorb oil to mattify skin. and they also have blurring micro-powder that virtually helps to blur the pores. This definitely well-made product for oily skin.
I apply the Maybelline Fit Me powder on top of the Maybelline Fit foundation
Coverage: The coverage is light to medium but build-able for higher coverage. Can be use own it own for a light coverage but I recommend for you to use it on top of the foundation.
Finishing/Longevity: Same like the foundation it have skin-like finishing and not cakey on me. It make my skin stay matte for the first 3-4 hours and when my skin start to oily, it becomes like dewy finishing. Iloveeee having dewy skin finishing.
